The Scotland National Cerebral Palsy Football Team are hosting a special international friendly exhibition on Saturday 19th April, 2026, bringing together para football, community spirit and live entertainment. Taking place at Newton Park, Bo’ness from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, the event will showcase two exciting fixtures:

Youth fixture: Scotland vs Ireland

Scotland National Team vs England

This will be a huge event for the national squads for both the adult and youth teams to represent their country! The adult team will play against the auld enemy, which will help in their preparations for the CP World Cup taking place in the USA this October. The youth team will have their very first international as they welcome the Ireland team to the country.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support a team that represents players from across Scotland with cerebral palsy, stroke, or acquired brain injury.

A Day for the Whole Community

More than just football, the day promises a family-friendly atmosphere:

  1. Appearances from local football club mascots

  2. Live entertainment including songs and dance performances from Bo’ness Belles and Lauren Christie’s School of Dance

  3. Face painting for the children

  4. A strong community partnership with the Bo’ness Children’s Fair

Come along and support the Team

The Scotland CP team relies heavily on fundraising to continue competing and developing future players. There is no fee to enter the ground although donations at the gate are welcome. The pie hut will be open along with a tuck shop for those with a sweet tooth, with all proceeds going back into the fundraising pot. Further donations can be made easily on the day via QR code, with every contribution helping to support training, travel, and international competition.

Come along, enjoy the action, and help back Scotland’s national CP football team as they continue to inspire both on and off the pitch.

That article about the Scotland Cerebral Palsy Football Association three-nation friendly exhibition brings back memories of watching disability football for the first time and being blown away by the skill, determination, and pure joy on display, and it's incredible how inclusive football can break down barriers and change perceptions about what athletes can achieve. The mechanics of adapted training, tactical awareness, and team spirit show that you don't need to be able-bodied to play beautiful, competitive football at a high level. While I was researching a bit more about useful tools to follow news and analysis of sports and digital entertainment, I discovered that at https://luckymisters-casino.co.uk/app/ can install a mobile application for sports analysis and interactive games with fast setup…
